Zhong Biao was born in 1968 in Chongqing, Sichuan Province, China. Zhong studied at Zheijang Academy of Fine Arts (China Academy of Fine Arts) in Hangzhou, China. Zhong Biao is one of the most famous Chinese contemporary artists. In 1991 he became an associate professor at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Currently the artist is living in Beijing and Chongqing, China.
His works represent a mix of past, present and future. For the past he uses historic sculptures and ceramics, while fashionably figures and symbols like skyscrapers and factories andexpress the modern Chinese society. Times are changing forever and over again.
